About Me

I was born a naturally curious individual viewing the world as an opportunity to experience and explore.  This is evidenced by entering the workforce working on Michigan's 2nd largest dairy farm, transitioning into an over the road-the-road truck until finding my passion for mental health in 2005.  Over the past 2 decades I have lived in Michigan, Colorado, Washington, North Carolina, and have since settled in Illinois.  Those adventures allowed me the opportunity to support individuals in a variety of settings ranging from inpatient (pediatric to adult), PHP, substance use (inpatient, outpatient and detox), aging and hospice until finding my true passion for individual psychotherapy.  Throughout this journey I have found myself seated on both sides of the couch with the goal to be well myself to effectively support others on their own journey.  

I am in the process of completing CSAT (certified sex addiction therapy) and Brainspotting .  I feel most comfortable supporting individuals faced with mood disorders/personality disorders, cPTSD, anxiety, depression and addiction.
