About Me

Hello!

My name is Allie Huddleston and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I graduated with my MEd. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Missouri – St. Louis and obtained my B.A. in Applied Psychology with a Minor in Business Administration from The University of Illinois at Chicago.

I have three years of combined experience in Community Mental Health where I worked in a nursing home serving older adults with severe and persistent mental health diagnoses and for a non-profit serving children, adolescents, and their families. I also worked on a legal helpline for survivors of sexual assault and as a visiting counselor at a high school. My clinical interests include trauma-informed care, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, and couples counseling. I currently utilize a person-centered, strength-based approach to counseling but adjust this to the needs of my client(s).
