About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I graduated from the University of Illinois and then attended Illinois State University, where I received my M.A. in Clinical Counseling Psychology and M.S. in Criminal Justice Sciences.

I have a passion for working with women, youth, young adults, those struggling with phase of life challenges, and individuals within the LGBTQ community. I am also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and have extensive knowledge in working with individuals with disabilities. My clinical areas of interest include how trauma impacts the brain and daily functioning, grief/loss, birth trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship/parenting challenges, and overall health and wellness. 

Using the therapeutic process and EMDR techniques, I strive to create an environment of safety, empowerment, collaboration, and a space where everyone’s story is valued and seen. I am honored to assist clients as they process past hurts, gain insight, foster trust, cope with distress, and develop stability. I believe my role as a therapist is to guide and encourage, as individuals seek healing that transforms their lives in varied and beautiful ways.
